My name is Ana. I am the mother of three amazing daughters, Grammie to two healthy boys and “mom” to a French Bulldog, Diego Ramón. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me on a hike with friends, walking Diego or cycling. I love to kayak, travel and cook for my family.
I started practicing yoga after a year struggling with insomnia. The stress of raising a family and opening a business had taken a toll on my health. My friend recommended yoga. I had no idea the impact yoga would have on my life. My insomnia went away. The positive benefits of yoga and meditation led me to heal and balance my body, and feel more connected and present.
I’ve trained with teachers from several different backgrounds, such as Power Yoga, Vinyasa, and Hatha Yoga.
My love and focus is primarily vinyasa and gentle yoga. I have a B.A in Psychology and Spanish from San Jose State University. I am certified by Janet Stone, YogaWorks and Ashley Turner of Yoga Psyche Soul. My inspiration comes from training with teachers from all backgrounds. All have led to a personal transformation.
I am an E-RYT-500 hour with Yoga Alliance .
