My name is Ana. I am the mother of three amazing daughters and Grammie to two wonderful boys. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me on a hike with friends, walking my dog Diego or reading. I love to kayak, travel and cook for my family.
My passion is studying and teaching the benefits of yoga.
I started my yoga journey after a year struggling with insomnia. The stress of raising a family and opening a business took a toll on my health. My friend recommended I try yoga. I had no idea the impact yoga would have on my life. The insomnia went away. The benefits of yoga and meditation led me to find balance in life. I discovered everyday is an opportunity to be in the moment, to breathe and begin again. My greatest joy is to share yoga with everyone!
My love and focus of yoga is a beautiful tapestry. I began my yoga journey with power yoga, then moved my attention to vinyasa. Today I teach vinyasa, gentle, yin and meditation.
My inspiration comes from several backgrounds and teachers, such as Janet Stone, YogaWorks, Seane Corn, Ashly Turner, Tiffany Cruikshank and Baron Baptiste. ALL have led to a personal transformation.
I am an E-RYT 500 hour member with Yoga Alliance.
