I am the mother of three amazing daughters, grammie to two healthy boys and “mom” to two fur babies. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me on a hike with friends, walking the dogs or cycling. I love to kayak, travel and cook for my family.
I started practicing yoga after a year struggling with insomnia. The stress of raising a family and opening a business had taken a toll on my health. My first yoga class was at the YMCA in 1996. My friend and yoga teacher recommended her yoga class. I had no idea what impact that class would have on my life. My insomnia went away. The positive benefits of my health and well being led me to deepen my practice and later become a yoga instructor.
I’ve trained with teachers from several different backgrounds, such as Power Yoga, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Anusara Yoga. All have lead to a personal transformation.
I am a RYT-500 hour with Yoga Alliance.
